Gann line, Gann fan and Gann grid
Lines at set angles relating price to time: 1×1 (one unit of price per unit of time), 1×2, 2×1 and so on.
הרעיון במילים פשוטות
W. D. Gann believed price and time were linked: a balanced trend moves one unit of price per unit of time (the 1×1 line). Steeper lines (2×1, 3×1) show stronger trends, flatter ones (1×2, 1×3) weaker ones.
איך זה מחושב
Click a starting point and a second point that defines one unit of price per unit of time. The fan draws all standard angles from the first point; the grid repeats 1×1 lines across the chart.
1×1 line: rises one price unit per time unit (as you set it)
Angles shown: 1×8, 1×4, 1×3, 1×2, 1×1, 2×1, 3×1, 4×1, 8×1איך משתמשים בזה
- In an uptrend, staying above the 1×1 line shows a healthy trend; falling below it, a weakening one.
- The fan's lines act as support and resistance as the price moves between them.
הסקת מסקנות
- Because the unit depends on your chosen scale, the same market can look very different.
דוגמה
From a low on a daily chart, the 1×1 line rises one point per day; the price holds above it for three months, then breaks it, and the next fan line (1×2) acts as support.

ממה להיזהר
- Gann methods depend heavily on scale choices and are interpreted in many ways.
