The idea in plain words

Levels are often zones rather than exact prices. A rectangle marks a range or a zone; a triangle can outline a converging pattern; an ellipse draws attention to an area.

How it is calculated

Rectangle and ellipse: click two corners. Triangle: three points. Toggle Fill in the settings.

How to use it

  • Mark a range: buy near its floor, sell near its ceiling, or wait for a breakout.
  • Mark zones where big moves started (supply and demand).

Drawing conclusions

  • Price leaving a rectangle with a strong candle is a breakout signal.

Example

A rectangle from 1.0750 to 1.0850 frames three weeks of sideways EURUSD trading.

Prices in examples are illustrative.

Watch out for

  • Keep the chart readable: too many shapes hide the price.
